Comparisons
comparisons display the difference between two assets a comparison can be made with a selected asset in the system or with a related asset such as a derived or imported asset you can view comparisons between the following asset groups assets an asset and its source versions of assets note comparisons apply to core properties only compare asset group compare asset groups lets you compare two asset groups by generating a spreadsheet the spreadsheet lists any added, removed or changed assets between the current asset group (current value) and the target asset group (comparison value) added, removed or changed assets are indicated by a colored cell you can also navigate to individual assets such as terminologies and view a summary of any changes compare assets you can also view comparisons at the asset level by clicking the compare button and choosing another asset to compare with the current asset the compare assets button displays a differential between the selected assets you can use the side navigation to view related parent and child assets within the comparison view you can also download the differential as a spreadsheet file compare to source asset compare to source asset can be selected from the relationships tab when editing an asset, for example, when editing an asset that was imported from another standard this comparison displays any changes between the current asset and its source this comparison can be applied wherever you see the compare assets icon compare versions compare versions can be selected from the relationships tab when editing an asset, for example, when editing an asset in a standard that has multiple versions
