Integrations
integrations allow you to integrate with third party systems such as medidata rave, medidata designer, and veeva to add an integration to a standard/study, you must have the "access dataset data" permission these permissions are added with user roles see managing users docid\ xfgpwb1c652lbukrc2133 medidata rave the medidata rave password automatically expires after 90 days and must be updated in rave adding an integration integrations are added from admin > repository > integrations to add a new rave integration click add enter a name for your integration and your rave url, for example https //innovate mdsol com https //innovate mdsol com / view integrations the view integrations icon is displayed at the standard/study level and allows you to associate an existing integration with the selected standard or study integrations are managed in admin > repository > integrations but are associated at the standard/study level to associate an integration click view integrations select an integration type from the dropdown menu click the plus icon to associate an integration select one of the available integrations for the selected type click associate enter your rave username and password removing an integration to remove an integration, click the x button next to the integration if the integration is currently associated with a standard or study, then it cannot be removed pull rave datasets with the medidata rave integration, you can pull datasets from rave into a standard or study in ryze to pull rave datasets click view integrations and associate an integration enter your username and password select your rave study and environment select your datasets and any other parameters click pull data enter a name for the imported dataset datasets are added as an asset group in your repository and may take a few moments to load set up a study with rave config integrations allow you to pull in rave config settings when creating a new asset group this enables rave config which is added to your rave plugin properties medidata designer you can connect your repository to medidata designer and import study design metadata directly into ryze, including forms, questions, terminologies, units, visits, and related study logic access to medidata designer must be enabled by certara contact your customer success representative to enable this integration users with the repository admin permission can then create and edit medidata designer integrations adding a medidata designer integration medidata designer integrations are created from administer > repository > integrations to add a new medidata designer integration click create integration select medidata designer from the integration type dropdown enter a name for the integration select an environment production or testing enter the app uuid provided by medidata upload your private key file click save to edit an existing medidata designer integration, click the edit icon next to the integration you can update any field without re uploading the private key, upload a new private key file only if you want to replace it import study design metadata when uploading an asset group, you can import study design metadata directly from medidata designer important you must have the medidata designer plugin enabled you can start the import from either of these workflows open the upload modal for your asset group from actions > upload create a new asset group, enable the medidata designer plugin and select create & import assets to import from medidata designer select the import from medidata designer tab select one of the import options docid 4n z 7g o7t prrzaml5k choose how to select your study dynamic search select a study group from the dropdown, then select a study from the list manual entry enter a specific study uuid click import you can monitor import progress on the imports page the import creates the following assets in your repository forms, sections, and questions visit schedules and visits terminologies and terms units conditions (from edit checks) and methods (from derivations) if the import fails, error details can be found on the imports page, including the medidata api call that failed and a plain language error message veeva vault ryze let’s you import studies and standards directly from veeva vault edc this integration lets you pull content from studies or casebooks in veeva to ryze you can then compare veeva content with your standards and pull in any subsequent updates from veeva the veeva importer uses a flexible import framework to enable smart merging of content in your repository adding a veeva integration veeva integrations use your veeva email and password to access your vault once this is configured, you can import content directly into ryze
