when copying content, you can check for conflicts between your existing assets and the assets to be copied there are three possible outcomes when checking for conflicts no conflicting assets are found and you can copy the content the selected assets are identical to the existing assets the system does not copy content as it already exists conflicts are found and the conflicts report is displayed you should review each conflicting asset before copying the system does not copy assets if they already exist in the standard/study the system checks for conflicts against the asset by default, but you can also include the asset name and asset identifier in this example, we copy sdtm ig 3 4 which has major updates to some domains best practice when copying content, you should check against all three properties, asset, asset name and asset identifier this means that the system is less likely to copy duplicates before copying, you should review each conflicting asset by using the comparison tool copying assets with conflicts before copying assets, a conflict report is displayed this shows any conflicts between the selected assets and existing assets if the selected asset includes referenced or child assets (for example, a form containing questions), then by default, the parent asset is selected for copying and the child assets are not you can use the conflict summary to select the appropriate child assets when reviewing conflicts, you can choose to keep the original asset or override with the new asset child assets that are shown as conflicts are not copyied by default to copy child assets, you must select override with new version comparing assets you can compare assets at any level by clicking the compare icon this displays a detailed report on any changes, additions or deletions of content assets that have changes are indicated with the flagpole icon changed properties are highlighted in blue new properties or assets are highlighted in green removed assets are highlighted in red you can also download the comparison as a csv file
